Actual Size
If 2008 was the year of the iPhone, it only makes sense that 2009 is bringing in its own share of small consumer electronics products. Although you won’t be able to fit this in the palm of your hand, Energy’s 8-inch ESW-M6 mini subwoofer ($600) is still a worthy contender in its own category. The ESW-M6 features a 6.5-inch black anodized aluminum cone woofer along with dual 6.5-inch passive radiators. It also incorporates a digital amplifier that is rated at 800 watts and a 50–200 Hertz variable low-pass filter with bypass mode. Energy even included an auto power feature that turns the sub on or off, depending on whether there are bass signals in your listening material. Despite its small size, the ESW-M6 can clearly take on the big dogs. < Previous Post | Blog Home | Next Post >
