Well, based on the characters on the signs in the background (hard to see, but they are there!), you are in the far east, and it could be BeiJing, Tai Pai, Etc... I doubt it's Hong Kong or Tokyo (did not appear to be busy enough)... Could be many smaller places than there or an out of the way place in the larger city... Am I close? Or China town in one of ours???? 5 points???? LOL!

Pink is huge in Japan, and that little umbrella in the right of the picture makes me think Tokyo is the city. Since you were in Osaka you saw some of the country. I hope you enjoyed your travels in the land of the rising sun.

Yep. It's the Ginza section of Tokyo, kind of like Times Square on meth. We took the bullet train from Tokyo down across to Osaka. Japan is an amazing country. And the food. . . If you ever get a chance to try Kobe beef, don�t. It will ruin steak for you forever.
